Our editorial standard
AntiqueMicroscopes.co is an independent website about antique microscope history, identifying instruments and buying with care. We are not a museum, appraisal firm, authentication service or an authorized representative of any historical manufacturer.
No imaginary provenance
Our photographs are original AI-generated editorial artwork depicting a period scientific study. They are not pictures of the specific products linked on eBay. The actual photographs, details, prices, seller and return policy must be checked on the individual eBay listing.
How affiliate compensation works
We participate in the eBay Partner Network. We may earn a commission when readers purchase through qualifying links. We do not claim to have physically inspected the items, and our maker histories are not paid placements.
Corrections
Historic instrument identification frequently requires specialist judgment. Research records can be revised, and a cited museum entry is evidence about that museum object, not a guarantee about another item. We avoid claims of authenticity or exact value without evidence.
